For ultra-sensitive situations
Email was invented and grew before security concerns could ever take root. Though some services offer end-to-end encrypted email, there is still a strong chance that meta-data about your communications could be collected and analyzed.
Therefore, we would recommend against using email for these ultra-sensitive situations, with a possible exception for Proton Mail if all communicator are using that service as well.
